She gives her father many reasons not to leave, does all she can but, the problems at home drove him away. The little girl is showing in this song how much she loves her father, how much she needs him.The little girl knows that in reality that her father wont come back. It breaks her little heart into pieces. That song is emotionally a stroll on me, I was daddy's little girl now I am just Edna. It makes me remember how much I really do miss and love my father but, than i remember my dad is not coming back through those doors again. Every time i listen to this song it brings to a place of hurt, emptiness, loneliness. Grasping with the idea of my family being broken, and my father not being in the picture is something I don't think I will ever grasp fully. I said all, did it all and tried everything! I know that my father isn't happy at home with my mother and i have to except that at some point in life. This song is significant in my life, it explains exactly how I feel and gives and idea of what I feel. would do anything to have my family puzzled back in one complete puzzle.
